2006 Marked the 50th year of Calvary Apostolic Church of Denver being a beacon in the city of Denver under the pastoral leadership of one man... Bishop D.E. Haymon.
In celebration of this event we hosted a Jubilee Celebration during our Mile High Conference. What a celebration! Friends, Preachers, Evangelists and Saints from all over the country came to celebrate. We even commemorated the occasion by producing a music CD entitled "Legacy" with the help of Rev. Timothy Spell. The 50th Anniversary Jubilee Celebration will be remembered warmly in all our hearts - and yours too we hope. It was a time of reflection for all of us on the bountiful blessings of our Lord Jesus Christ on our church, our Pastor and his family. We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
The first night we hosted a worship concert officially releasing our Jubilee "Legacy" CD with Rev. Timothy Spell with never before recorded music.
Then on Monday evening, July 24th we commemorated the life and ministry of Bishop Haymon with a formal 50th Anniversary Jubilee Banquet. Preachers and friends from all over the country came to take part. Recognition from friends and even the city of Denver were received. The evening culminated with a special presentation of a brand new Mercedes-Benz SUV as a gift from the loving Saints of Calvary Apostolic Church to Bishop D.E. Haymon.
The celebration continued July 25th through the 27th as we enjoyed the word of God brought to us by the finest Preachers in Pentecost. It was truly a glorious experience that left all with a grateful heart for what God has done in the past... but more importantly, with a sense of anticipation for what He will do in the future.
Our warmest thanks goes out to all who took part.
